Hand made

by Sebastian Jurcan

Country Style Smallgoods started in 2013 when Sebastian Jurcan saw the potential for his quality artisanal smallgoods to be produced locally in the Ballarat region. His smallgoods have been in demand ever since. Country Style Smallgoods supplies wholesale smallgoods to deli's, restaurants and cafes in Ballarat, Melbourne, Geelong and the greater Victorian region.

Making smallgoods is a Jurcan family tradition. Sebastian's parents are originally from Istra, a peninsula off the Northern Coast of Croatia. The southern European lifestyle is renowned for quality cured meats, using processes from previous generations dating back hundreds of years. Sebastian's meat producing skills were acquired whilst a boy residing with his family in Musk, southeast of Daylesford making a variety of salamis, proscuitto, pancetta and cappocollo was a daily activity. To quote Sebastian...

“ Growing up, it's what we did, our cultural thing.
